British Car Auctions own We Buy Any Car, so all the cars are sold through BCA.
  • Though they had something to do with CarCraft? E.g flog the best ones when they flog finance, and shove the rest through auction?
  • Webuyanycar was puchased by BCA in 2013, previously it was in private ownership

Set up by the owners of CarCraft so I was kind of right. :)

Not all the cars go through auction.
The newer ones (less than 3 years old) go to CarCraft.
Those worth less then £6k, but more than £250 go to auction and the rest go to scrap.

Unless of course, the WBAC place doesn't sell the car to a punter for cost+£100 first.
The one opposite the place I undertook my FLT training last year was more then happy to flog-on cars for a straight £100 profit. My tutor used to buy any Audi's they had in to resell at a nice profit.
    Never Knowingly Understood.

At one time Manheim distributed all of their cars and when they were going to renew the exclusive deal, BCA stepped in and bought WBAC. All of the cars are now auctioned
