Just want to check if the £500 to qualify for the benefits has to be a single transaction, or can it be the total credits during the month.

Can it literally be any credits from outside Santander. So for example, if I get a credit of £100 from an energy company, can I make a transfer from an another bank account or share account etc. of £400 to qualify. Same with cheques and transfers from paypal etc ? As long as it all add up to £500?

OK let's think about this for a moment...

If a customer is paid weekly, they'd need a salary of around £34K in order to draw more than £500 a week after tax and NI...more if they paid into a company pension scheme.

Do you think Santander would wish to exclude customers on that kind of salary who are paid weekly?

    And there's your answer. :)
