How long is it since you have switched? I'm not sure if there is an easier way but if you make an account on noddle you should be able to see all direct debits from I think six years ago.

Look at your bank statements & bills - it's probably too late if you are the sort who doesn't check them or chucks them out.

However banks are obliged to keep your records for six years so you could ask your bank for a copy of your records but they might charge you for them.

I managed to get a full set from Barclays when my Mum died and I had to do the probate

Have you tried contacting your current supplier? They might be able to provide this information to you. The list of suppliers for your property is recorded on the Ecoes database as far back as 1996, and all suppliers have access to this.

Whether they will provide this information to you is another question, but surely it's worth a try?
  • check your bank statements and see which transactions went out to see which supplier u were with.
