What about a book of love poems or a photo of where you first met/proposed? A friend of mine did this and gave the present and a single red rose to her mum to leave on her dressing table on the morning of the wedding so she found it as she was getting ready. I thought that was lovely and would be very touched by a guesture like that. I think r.mac is right when she says the present my come from the heart, not from the wallet! Best of luck for the wedding OP,

How about something from Tiffanys - they come beautifully presented and they have an online store...lucky girl that you are thinking about this. Good for you, hope you are sooo happy.
