Hi sorry if this is the wrong place... i'm getting married in just over 4weeks and i want to get my future wife a wedding present, something romantic only problem is i cant think of anything that i havnt already got her in the past or that i could afford, the wedding has cost more than we had expected and i have very little left, but i would like to get her something she could keep and remember for ever to remind her of our big day, so if anyone has any ideas whatsoever i would like to hear from you. thankyou for all you help.

Hi, My husband bought me a jewellery box with a pair of earrings inside and a note that he would add an item to my collection on every anniversary. I did get some goodys in the first few years now I have to give him a gentle nudge! By the way.... Congratulations!!I may not have thanked you but I meant to, honest!0

I will be in that situation soon.
But for my friends 21st I got him a silver hip flask and got his DOB engraved on it. You could do something like this for you wife. Something that maybe wont be used but will be kept forever.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
hello there
congratulations on your impeding marriage. I am a bride to be and think your post is lovely - how thoughtful you are. I would suggest that you stop worrying about the financial side of your present and think about the sentiment. A beautifully written letter or card will mean more to your sife to be than ay amount of diamonds as it is truely from you.
does she have anything close to her heart e.g if she loved hedgehogs, could you write her a card with a picture of a hedgehog on it and tie it around a soft toy hedgehog?
or send her a single red rose the morning of the wedding saying you can't wait to see her and marry her?
i would try and make whatever you buy as personal as possible - after all its you she is marrying not your bank balance!
Good luck and enjoy the celebrations
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

A love letter written, one a week, for say 7 weeks before the wedding,or you could both do this, and exchange them on your honeymoon.
Took this from a Canadian website called www.frugalbride.com
Go into Grooms planner ,then select "gifts for her"0 -
Hiya & congrats on the upcoming nuptial!
How's about something kinda similar to the jewel box idea: A tree or flowering shrub that you can place an anniversary pressie on for every year for the (hopefully!) next 50.... If you consult a local nursery / horticulture centre, you can choose something that will bloom each year on your anniversary. :-)
Best wishes!!daniel-2412 wrote: »Hi sorry if this is the wrong place... i'm getting married in just over 4weeks and i want to get my future wife a wedding present, something romantic only problem is i cant think of anything that i havnt already got her in the past or that i could afford, the wedding has cost more than we had expected and i have very little left, but i would like to get her something she could keep and remember for ever to remind her of our big day, so if anyone has any ideas whatsoever i would like to hear from you. thankyou for all you help.Still waiting for Dyson to bring out a ride-on hoover...Memberships:
