Euro Car Parks PCN

Afternoon All,

I have received a PCN notice from Euro Car Parks Ltd for an incident dated 02/12/2014.

The first I knew of this was a Notice to Keeper dated 29/12/2014 requesting payment of £90.
This letter has no ANPR photos and requests payment within 28 days.

It since transpires that the girlfriend had some post in her handbag that has an earlier correspondence dated 5/12/2014. This has photos of the number plate from an ANPR camera. It requests payment of £90 but discounted to £50 if paid within 14 days.

I have read the Stickies, Newbies and many other threads and am prepared to appeal using the template.

I would just like advice that:

A) I'm not too late due to me not knowing about the first notice
B) Only the second letter is headed up as a NtK but the first mentions that I am the registered keeper. So are they too late in issuing a NtK?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

Are you the registered keeper of the car? If so, your gf wouldn't be getting anything addressed to her.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I am the registered keeper. She picked up our post, put it in her handbag and forgot about it, for a month!
  • Any one able to give and help and advice on this?

I'm at the stage now where I either need to appeal or just pay (which I would obviously rather avoid)

Just appeal anyway, it's not too late to try to send the first appeal from the NEWBIES thead.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Who was driving that day? If someone else is covered to drive your vehicle then surely it can't have been you, the registered keeper, could it now.

As this is an ANPR ticket then you could respond to the PPC to give them the name and address of that driver, and they could then get their own PCN and appeal it. ;)

And since it's her fault you're in this situation, perhaps it was her driving that day after all. :D
