Hello win but told them to redraw

Options
A few of us had won tickets to The Secret Service with Hello on Twitter there was a date of the show but no location, Was told after i won it was in London, I guess they missed the important bit from the tweet lol. Told them to redraw it like a few others have done. There reply was

Sorry about that. The word count meant we could only mention the date! Best, HELLO!

Hope who ever gets it enjoys it :) I believe in Karma no point in having the prize if i am not going to use it. :A

    That would have done it, although they could have got London in the tweet if they wanted to, maybe as the tickets were to the World Premiere which is in London they (clearly incorrectly) thought that would be enough information.

    Well done Makeandsave. I hope you get a nice "reward" through another win shortly.

    This week I won a midweek break but it was for a date that I cannot now make. I was honest with the provider and said that they should re-draw but they said that, as I had been straight with them, they would offer it to me next week (which I can make).

    Then I won a hamper but, on calling them, it was clear that they were inexperienced and had anticipated a local winner who would collect the prize. I said that it was not in the T&Cs but ceded the prize because it was awkward for them. I added that they could use my winning slogan anyway and they have said that they will "send me something".

    I steer away from mentioning "ethics" on this forum but I feel comfortable with both outcomes.
