Ski Insurance - Equipment cover only

Hi all,
Am going skiing next week and am looking for some insurance that covers equipment/lift passes/piste closure etc. only. Only booked the other day, not being slack and leaving things to the last minute!
I currently have an international private medical insurance policy that covers me for skiing from a health benefit (high level of cover, includes emergency evacuation, repatriation etc) but when speaking to their claims department there is no cover for equipment. I obviously want to have all aspects of my holiday covered so hence this post.
I haven't been able to find equipment only cover, and am reluctant to pay for a policy that includes health benefit as I am already fully covered, and as we know, you can't claim twice on different insurance policies.
Any suggestions on this? I have paid for all of my ski passes and equipment hire on credit card, but doubt this would give me a full level of cover.
Any advice much appreciated!

What risks are you wanting covered?
Home Personal Possessions cover MAY cover you for loss, theft and accidental damage to them if you have a contract making you legally responsible for them but wouldnt cover you if its a case of having to cancel the trip due to injury before leaving etc.
Presumably you arent worried about liability either? If you skied into someone, they get injured and try and sue you for their injury and medical expenses?0 -
Thanks for the response InsideInsurance. My private medical cover covers me for liability up to €2m (I have a travel bolt on to my policy which includes liability, just not equipment). Am very conscious of having that available to me. I'm looking for piste closure, equipment damage/theft, and loss of not being able to use ski passes.
It might be that I just have to buy a full policy and just not utilise the medical benefit section......0
