I can sympathise. They must have mentioned their 'free legals' to me about 20 times and I'm pretty sure us not using them meant our first offer was rejected. I'm keeping quiet for now because I really want the house but they will be getting quite the complaint when it's all done. They've also lost a potential customer because I will never sell my house through them and also never recommend them.0

Connells are part of the sequence group and I had exactly the same issue with Fox and Sons who are another part of their group.
Refused to pass on my offer or accept my existing AIP from my broker.
I walked away and complained about them to the property ombudsman, they then sent me a letter saying I had made an offer and immediately withdrawn it to try and cover their backsides.
I refused to subsequently view any properties with them and would never sell with those bunch of cowboys.0
