Ok so i got my new tv, connected it all up and tuned it in but all i can ever get is static noise when trying to view the t.v
Its tuned in correctly because the picture is fine but i get only a static noise.
Am i missing something or is it just a faulty set?

hook it up to a stereo system or something using a phono lead. if its still staticy..
Also try using something like freeview to see if it is indeed the signal.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

What is the make and model of your TV?
Are you having problems with the normal analogue stations, or has it got a digital tuner and your getting no sound from them.
Have you got any external equipment connected to the TV, DVD,VCR,STB etc.
If so disconnect everything except your aerial lead, retune and try again. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

According to the specification, it has a Freeview digital tuner (as well as analogue):

I suspect that you've got it set to the wrong PAL standard. If you are in the UK, you should set it to PAL-i.0 -
