Mortgage not appearing on Noddle

Good afternoon all,
I am new to all of this, so I am sorry if my question is a silly one. I have finally decided that I am going to take control of my finances and debt. As part of that I registered with Noodle just to see what my credit report looked like (I am still trying to get my head around the fact that you don't have an overall credit rating!!!)
I noticed on my report that my mortgage does not appear on there. I bought the house 3 1/2 years ago. Do some mortgage lenders not pass the information on (my mortgage is with a smallish building society) Or should I apply to Noodle to update my credit file. Will it make any difference if it is on there or not?
Thank you in advice for any input.

Lenders can supply to, and take information from, any one of the three CRAs, two or all three.
It is only by obtaining all three versions of your credit file will you see the full picture of your credit history.
It's also possible a lender won't release details of a credit agreement to a CRA unless the account falls into arrears.I am a mortgage broker. Check with the lender to see if they report to CallCredit. If they don't, then it simply will not be on your Callcredit/Noddle report.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thank you so much for your responses, really appreciate them. I think I will do both, get the other credit reports and then ask the Building Society.
Thank you!
