How is it Friday already? DS started at 4.30am this morning just to get me back into training for next week.. zzzzzz

Off to get DD sorted out later this morning, need to go and collect something for a friend, fuel the car up and take a few things back to B&Q that DH didn't use and one thing back to Tecco's.. that'll be some money refunded onto CC5, so come the beginning of next week, it'll look more healthy and I'll be able to reduce the balance downwards for the first time..

What a yucky day.. Errands done, DD hand is released again and she is currently in the bath trying to soak off everything that is on there, including the black arrow the consultant drew on to mark which hand it was! I thought that would have been washed off pre op??

DH is knackered, so am I, so once they are both out the bath and dry, it's snuggle time with a film or two and a log fire.

    oh - and a cookie!

We won't talk about my Mr T visit or what I spent (yet)

Nothing exciting at all MTG, more the fact I was spending when I shouldn't have been. but if you call Calpol, Nurofen etc as impulse shopping.. then I am rock and roll.

We are both soooo knackered, so are planning to go to bed with the kids tonight as I just feel we need some sleep...

    Morning all,

Had a mega early night and DH let me lie in as well, so I'm feeling much better today. Joined three new survey sites last night after reading an updated article from MSE and they seem to be pretty good..

Have promised the littlies a day of crafting today whilst DH is plastering. I also need to give the kitchen a really deep clean at some point this weekend, it's generally filthy in there despite me trying to stay on top on it.

Bank accounts checked and a few more extra £1's send to CC5. I've adopted SJ's approach of getting rid of loose pennies on accounts.. spent £55.01 on petrol yesterday, sent £56 to the CC, it's only pence, but it will all add up. Good job it's payday this week, we are down to £216 in the bank account - so many of the pots are in the red.

Can't believe it's back to work the day after tomorrow, but I'm kinda ready for a bit of routine and this holiday has been strange due to being limited as to things to do. Looking forward to Easter in a few weeks and a trip away!

Your relaxing day and early night sounded like it was needed.

I do the same as you with cc payments in an effort to bring the balance down. Yes it's only pennies but it is sending it in the right direction.
