Hi All
I changed my front door lock (Barrell) was nice n easy, I then wanted to change my french door locks one side was nice n easy just like the front door but the other door I cant figure out...
Ive googled/youtube it and it says that I have to unscrew the metal fixing and then drill into the plastic to discover the screw... but behind the metal fixing is UPVC with a hole which shows metal... do i need to drill into the metal?
I have attached a picture which shows the metal fixing... when I remove the fixing there is rectangle hole that is cut out and behind it is metal... where is this screw

Upload your image to a picture hosting website... for example, photobucket... there are many others.
Then use the URL that the picture hosting website gives you.0 -

AFAIK there's only one place Euro-cylinders have the securing screw, so drawing a horizontal line from there and around onto the edge of the door, I'd expect the screw to be located underneath the red dot...0

Thanks for the reply, that's exactly what I thought but it's not right when looking at the door and following your line the red dot is infact higher up in my second pic in means I have to drill into the metal... Not sure if I should or not0
