iTunes problem..cant start !

having a spot of bother launching i-tunes on my desktop..double clicking shortcut does nothing..ive re-installed wich dosnt seem to have changed anything !
according to the windows task manager i-tunes is running.
help please

Have you tried ending the process using task manager and then restarting i-tunes?

What version of iTunes is it? There were big problems with the latest 7.3 release - use the Apple discussion forums http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=149

What about when you plug in your iPod, does it automatically start i-tunes. Or if you find a song in your i-tunes folder, right click and choose 'open with' and select i-tunes.

i dont use an i-pod...use i-tunes just as a player & buying stuff...all my tunes appear to be in my music...just cant open on desktop

just to update you folks i ran my AVG spyware,cleared out any possible threats & heypresto i-tunes came back ....weird !
