There are reasons I drive rather than take public transport. These include: Stopping where ever and when ever I want ( any D-tours I feel like), super warm airflow, singing along to music I like, chatting to friends en - route via blue tooth. If I wanted to be restricted to an average temperature, having no control on when I stop, where and how long for and have to make conversation when I want to zone out, I would go back to taking public transport. I detest car sharing. I sometimes offer lifts and share journeys during work hours but enjoy sole driving.
  • Guaranteed parking and 50% off car parking fees are the incentives with my employer :)

Is it contractual that they pay your parking fees? Quite strange but I guess can happen

Or are you your own employer?

All employees who park in the staff car parks are charged parking fees. My employer offers a 50% reduction in these parking fees to those who car share.

    Hope that makes sense.
