Ex Motability

We are not specifically looking for ex-mobility but there are some extremely low mileage cars around at good prices which happen to be ex-mobility. I had no idea the UK was so full of disabled people.Je suis sabot...0

I've had my ex Motabilty Peugeot 307 for nearly 7 years. It was a year old and had done 8,000 miles when I purchased it from BCA at half the price it cost new!
I've got to say it' the most reliable car I've ever owned. It's passed all it's MOT's without any problems, and apart from tyres and services, needed nothing doing to it. I intend running it for another three years at least, and will be sad when I have to part with it.0 -
extremely low mileage cars
Good seats, pedals etc - also would have required more frequent oil changes, battery and alternator have had a harder life, engine has spent a higher proportion of its life not being properly lubricated, cat will have had a higher proportion of cycles and (diesel) DPF might be clogged.
Careful what you wish for...0 -
The car user has the opportunity to buy the car at the end of the lease but in my experience, motabilty want over the top money for them.
When I asked this question to motability we were told they no longer offer end of lease buy out.
OP I know some dealerships will keep the exceptional ones to resale on the fourcourt as a kia dealer near me will keep back a good few goo ones to resale with their 7 year used approved warranty, some good go off to auction if the mileage is not what the want to keep but in over all good condition got to auction with the bad ones too.0 -
Paul, we got some gems from the MFLDirect website. Though you had to be online at 6.00am to get the good stuff.
We did get some real pigs from there though when they first launched that service.0
