£30 from Halifax all because their website broke when trying to switch!

Thought I'd share this with you all.
I tried to switch to the Halifax Rewards Current Account the other day but got an error message after completing everything! Tried it again and I was told I had already submitted an application. Didn't fancy ringing their very expensive phone number so sent them an email via their website.
Received a call from Halifax today who advised that they had a system error the other day and my application was cancelled. I couldn't submit a new application for 2 days as a security precaution. They offered me £30 for the inconvenience which they transferred into my current bank account this evening. :j
Not a bad result, now let's hope the switch all goes well!
