(I have read the stickys but I honestly couldn't see a clear answer since I have not appealed or been told 'its too late'.)
Having received numerous letters to pay a debt for overstaying in Sainsburys car park, I've now received a letter from Zenith Collections.
I am concerned because I didn't research properly and didn't appeal to the first few letters. I feel as if it is a little bit too late. I had been reading to ignore the letters, but just saw today that rules had changed a while back and appealing was necessary.
- I don't have any of the old letters.
- The car is registered under my mum's name, and I don't want to ruin her credit.
What do you advise me to do?

The NEWBIES thread tells you to ignore debt collectors but not real court papers.
Who is the PPC and when did the parking event occurr? It may be possibkle for the keeper to name the driver and rest the clock so the driver can then appeal and get this quashed. Have you complained to Sainsbugs to demand they cancel the PCN?
Your Mum has nothing to worry about as far as credit rating is concerned. Nothing detrimental is going to happen.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

PPC is Euro car parks and the contravention date was 04/09/2014. I don't really know who or how to appeal since I don't have the old letters. I havent complained to sainsburys just been ignoring everything. And I'm glad it will not affect my mum's credit. Letters come on her name since she is the registered keeper so you can imagine how scared she is..0 -
if there was no windscreen ticket and it was anpr, get the RK to name the driver with their address, that way the driver gets a pcn and appeals in their own name, following the sticky thread0

So, reassure your Mum that nothing bad can happen, complain long and loud to sainsbugs and don't taske no for an answer, and write to the PPC on behalf of your Mum as Redx has advised naming yourself as the driver.
Do not ignore this any more.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Ok I will take the following steps:
- Get my mum to send a letter stating I was the driver.
- Send a letter telling Sainsburys that I only parked there because I was told I can by the store manager since I worked for the company at the time. (I know I didnt mention this)
- Appeal, if i receive any letters for me?0 -
correct
make sure that your mum sends this "naming the driver" to the PPC, not the debt collector (ignore them)
post it at a post office, and obtain a free certificate of posting and keep this very safe
ensure she puts the reg number, the date of the alleged "infringement" and any reference numbers she can find on the DC paperwork, like pcn number, location , date of infringement , VRN ,
come back and do your PPC appeal when YOU receive a pcn in your own name - from ECP0 -
