Buying flooring from B&Q

I'm looking to buy 35squared metres of wood flooring and underlay from B&Q.

Has anyone had any luck haggling in B&Q and how should I go about it?

Any help appreciated thanks

Done it when I was ordering a large amount of roofing panels and I had an online price to use for bargaining, they discounted to near enough match.
  • To be honest b and q flooring isn't great your better off shopping with wood flooring suppliers online or going through a good fitter that supplies I used these people

For full disclosure, it appears that Dave Ellis actually owns (or at least works for and runs the Facebook pages) for both of these companies.

Take his recommendation with a pinch of salt.

Shame on the numpy for thinking we are gullible
  • I've got relatively expensive laminate flooring from B&Q. It's in our entrance area, hallway and through into the lounge. Heavy foot traffic daily, has been down 5yrs with zero issues.

On the other had I bought even dearer laminate from Next home store and it's in the kitchen. Hated it from day one. Poor quality and certainly won't buy flooring from Next again

If you know someone with a Trade Point card for using at the checkout it may save you a decent amount. I was able to save almost £800 off a kitchen a few years back
