  • It doesnt but it does affect your browsing and response times.. so your internet connection will be a lot slower if your using all your upload speed for example :)

    It would have some impact if you completely maxed out your upload, so there was no bandwidth available for returning ACK packets. Where available you can set up QoS on the local router to avoid this.
