Caravan Club Membership

Apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this in but we are looking to take the family away the the campsite at Longleat in the summer and you need to be a caravan club member to stay there. I just wondered if anyone knew of any discounts for the annual membership, we probably wont need it again!

I'm open to be corrected but one of the criticisms of the Caravanning Club is that their booking system allows members to book large numbers of sites at the beginning of the year thus preventing those who prefer to book as and when they require a space not to be able to do so. Also the site managers can be a bit shirty.

I'm a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club (boo hiss) where it all seems a bit more relaxed.
