Reducing Offer - Asbestos Garage roof

Yes, both small and ex council, 3 bed though, well 2.5 if honest.

Not entirely sure that`s what they meant...Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
If it's a 1985 build, it's unlikely to be asbestos which was only used until the very early 80s, but DYOR.
There are many products out there which look like the old asbestos, especially if covered in years of moss etc.0 -

The roofer who came around said its Asbestolux, a form of Asbestos but not as hazardous.
I've not mentioned any amount just sent the quote to the agent and asked him to call, not sure if there is another way around it, either he fixes and I pay some or I just reduce the offer but then mortgage company and solicitors get involved. The agent is very good and I'm hoping some compromise will be reached, had I seen it in the first two visits I would taken it into account then.0
