New York - £235 each way

Digging around airport websites today and noticed that you can get to New York via Dublin through Southampton Airport for a good price.

Cheaper option that Gatwick and Heathrow if you are down south.

I don't think that is particularly cheap for New York. I regularly see fares cheaper than £470 with BA, VS etc

£470 not a great fare, by the time you factor in the trip to Dublin and possible accommodation it could end up costing you more than a direct flight

If you are prepared to start ex EU then something like this is an option
£196 return from Oslo with Norwegian on direct flights
