    Thanks, and to you.

Has the SNP banned old people from voting?

No. Labour support from the under 65's however, has completely collapsed.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

I work with a LOT of over 65's ... Labour support isn't very high there either, although it is higher than the under 65's

So the EU who SNP are insisting we want to remain part of are suggesting the minimum price for a unit of alcohol the SNP is proposing is contrary to EU law? If this was the UK government saying this you'd never hear the end of the SNP bitching about it!

    Yeah,yeah,.....

How much by? Is it in keeping with the plan?

    What about the debt?

SNP budget was pretty nondescript. The days is approaching when they are going to have to be accountable themselves to the Scottish electorate. Seems the Property Tax revenue was optimistically miscalculated. The question is then are "they" competent enough individuals to manage an entire economy? Given the failure to be even close to such a trivial figure. Seems they overlooked the fact that people would buy early to avoid paying it.

If you throw lots of boomerangs expect them to come back to hit you. ;)

As has already been said they have neither the intellect or the intelligence to run a m!nage never mind a Country. The will F you see K Scotland and it will be the 'UK Government' (Swinney's favourite phrase on every subject) to blame.

Evidence? How would you know? You appear to be running around the length and breadth of Scotland garnering political opinion. Do people just rush up to you and unburden themselves? I worked at one of the biggest hospitals in Scotland and can only remember having a very occasional conversation about politics with staff or patients...you however appear to have several almost daily...strange!

Funnily enough I don't talk political parties at my work ... I refuse to ... ( hard to believe I know... but the job I do should never involve political parties IMHO)

When members of the public however see things on TV or read it in their papers and then comment to other members of the public I listen to what they say ... and I don't comment at all ... I just listen ( I find you can learn more that way)

Now don't get me wrong .. a lot of them still will vote labour, they do however feel labour have sold out the working man, they say things like " I don't believe a thing labour say, but I would still never vote tory"

Labour support is sinking fast, I also find it interesting to note a lot of the older people would also never consider SNP instead of labour, they know labour are worthless but they seem unable to change their voting patterns.

Other people I work with love the SNP and voted yes and actively campaign for SNP, almost to the point where they are unable to recognise that the SNP are not the answer to everything.

So my experience has shown me plenty, I reckon I come across approx 30 older people a day 6 days a week so 180 a week at my work, not all of them talk about political parties ... but it does surprise me how many do

And it astounded me how few trust and support labour, certainly not something I expected tbh.

I would imagine though everyone's experience will be different, I know that no two days are the same for me ... I imagine I am not alone in that

Not surprising though. As Labour in the broadest sense have an identity crisis. Up until 2007 whether you loved them or hated them you knew what they stood for. Blair isn't a stupid man so knew when to jump ship and disappear off to foreign lands to distance himself. Since then they've been in effective turmoil and decline. The Blair\Brown partnership that sellotaped the party has gone. Leaving very visible fundamental disagreement as to forward policy. In fact there's been little to no real policy on certain issues for years now. Until there is. Only dyed in the wool hard liners are going to turn out.
