Flashpark

Anyone heard of Flashpark, according to the sign, it's a registered trade mark for Vehicle Control Solutions Ltd.

I was parking on a public road, council owned, in a cul de sac, near a town I was visiting.

The signs saying it's a
'controlled parking zone'
'private property'
'permit holders only'

'parking charge notice £85'

'details will be requested from the dvla'

They are on private residences, fronting onto the pavement.

Who do I report this to.
It doesn't involve the council, as they're on private property, but clearly the signs are blatantly there to deter motorists parking in the cul de sac, and nipping into the shops.

Any help to get these sorted out?

And there was me thinking you already knew everything.

Did you actually get a ticket? And are you certain it's public highway? There are at least two Flashpark-infested roads in the town where I live which look to all intents and purposes like public highway but are in fact private.

If you are certain it's public highway the thing to do would be to keep going back until one of the Norris Coles dobs you in to Flashpark and you get a notice in the post. Then you can go to town on the DVLA, BPA and Trading Standards.

    No I didn't get a ticket.

I'll leave it alone then, for someone else to get one.

Signs don't mention BPA, appeal, or any of the usual things either.

Yet. Flashpark's Norris Cole lackeys don't put tickets on windscreens, they simply snap the "offending" car with their 'phone and upload it to Flashpark in blatant contravention of DVLA's audit trail requirements (the people putting up the signs and taking the photos are total strangers to Flashpark and could be snapping anyone anywhere for all Flashpark knows or cares).

The ticket comes later in the post.

I was parking, but then a car moved off the next section of the road, from a marked council space, so I parked in that, then walked past and took the photos.
I couldn't see any need to park in front of someones house for the sake of it, I couldn't see any need to get the hassle of the ticket, and now, tbh, I can't see any point in reporting them.
Someone else can if they get a ticket, and can be bothered, instead of paying.
