NWAS Staff Deserve Recognition

On new years eve I had a small seizure (im epileptic and took my meds as usual) only this time I felt really different when I came round then other times. I called the NHS 111 and gave them my symptoms which I was told could be a heart attack and they dispatched an ambulance to get to me within 20 minutes. The ambulance staff that came to my aid were really good to me and helped to calm me. Later on as I was in a side room at the hospital I saw the same 2 paramedics get attacked by what appeared to be a drunken or drugged up man who had been accompanied by police. These medics and other ambo staff deserve our thanks and I will be helping to fund raise for them this year.

I feel sympathy for all of the NHS staff currently being used as a political football.0
