All in one PC v desktop PC potential purchase

I am looking for some advice in a potential PC purchase.
I am looking primarily at a Tower PC (with all necessary peripherals) but would look at all in one PCs too.
My main requirements are:
Fast PC with multitasking capabilities (at least 3 GHz clock speed and 8 MB memory cache)
12 GB RAM
Graphics Card
WiFi enabled (as my broadband will be in another room to the PC)
Wireless Keyboard / Mouse
At least 1TB (preferably more) storage
Could anyone advise where to buy such a machine as I don't want to buy through Currys PC world.
I have had a couple of quotes for around £700 - how does this sound?

I doubt you will find an all in one with a separate graphics card, im guessing they all have 'on board' due to space restrictions0

the intel "nuc" series are good , they even clip onto the back of your tv
however they have an inbuilt video card (quite good)
I,m using the "baby" one at the moment (n2820) with only 2 mains leads (monitor and nuc , and a wireless keyboard/mouse.
this was actually going to be my media player , however my main PC broke , as a consequence I only ordered a 120g ssd and 4g memory.
running win 8.1 its quite peppy , however if I was buying one for a dedicated PC it would be the i3 or i5 version0 -
Don't look at all in one if you need graphic card.
Why do you need 12GB RAM? Most people only need 8GB
Motherboard these day work with dual channel, 2x4GB RAM or 2 x 8GB RAM is the most common combination.
You can consider this unless you insist 12GB RAM

What is the PC actually going to be used for ?
Unless you are still running DOS, all PC's are able to multitask.
what system is best, would depend on what you are using it for0 -

It's going to be used as a household pc (domestic use) rather than business.
I agree with the above comment regarding the RAM 8 will be sufficient.0 -

Why? If you are happy with a tower then you will get much more bang for your buck. All in ones often use the more expensive laptop components due and/ or just the general costs of miniturisation. If you dont need/ want the lower footprint why consider paying the premium for it?
Also dont get sucked into the numbers game which you appear to be doing!
Personally these days I wouldnt buy a computer without at least a modest SSD for the OS and main applications, they make such a big difference to the speed of a computer.0 -
U've not really mentioned gaming, will it be needed for gaming ?
if not, a dedicated graphics card will not be needed, an SSD instead of a graphics card would be a better option.
an i3 should be enough for your needs, or if you really want the extra power, and dont mind spending extra, you could get an i5.
if you want to save money, then you could look at an AMD instead0 -

I don't do an awful lot of gaming these days so yes perhaps a graphics card is a luxury I could do without.
Thanks for all the advice so far.0 -
Take a look at the Medion site. Yes, I know Aldi sometimes sell their pc's but they offer a lot for your money and mine has run for years without any problems.
