I very nearly fell off my chair today when reading a Telegraph article promoting the M&S Regular Saver today.
When compared to the highest-paying current accounts, the regular saver is bettered by only two competitors when compared with interest paid on a £3,000 current account balance.

If a specialist personal finance reporter can't figure out the difference between saving £3K upfront and saving £250 a month for 12 months, what hope is there for Joe Public.

Aside from that, you won't get interest on £3K in the two "competitors".....shocking piece of journalism
