Natwest - Basic v Gold v Platinum

If I satisfy the conditions of all 3 types of credit cards above - is it any more likely that I'd get rejected if I went for Platinum over Basic?

Or is it the case that they'd either have me or not depending on my credit rating and they wouldn't care which I applied for provded I satisifed the main conditions 25+ etc..

Cheers for the help!

it doesnt really matter which one you go for - for example if you go for gold but they dont want to give you gold, they will offer you standard - so you should really just apply for the highest one you can.
