09 Astra discs and pad cost

sorry mate its just the front 2 wheels, not the 4. Quikfit have charged £180 for full service plus tracking, however tracking had been missed. So its on the machine as we speak.
£200 for front pads and discs is a complete rip off, It's only £45 - £70 parts range and a relatively quick job.
It's even cheaper at the main dealers, you'll probably find the service would've been around the same price at the main dealers too.
My last main service and MOT was £206 all in, previous one was £172.0 -

well what parts did they fit & what is your car difference services have different things carried out0 -
i love these slag kwick fit stories
you get bad apples in every trade and kwick fit have something like 900 centres so you will get some rogues but not all
bet you ask around and a few local garages are just as bad but not got a national name so doesnt crop up so much0 -

My car is the same as the OPs son, just a bit newer, that's why I know exactly what the parts prices are. I put my reg into ECP.0 -

The OP didn't slag them off or state they've done a bad job.
They asked for advice on whether a quotes seems reasonable and it isn't. The most expensive place to get your car worked on should be the main dealers, not a national fitters chain.0 -

Im not in the game or on here to slag anyone off, but my lad on my advice has he has a 2 year old, I told him to take to another garage to get a quote for the brakes. After looking at them the mech told my son not to panic there is plenty of life in them.
I know there are bad apples in every trade but why scare the !!!! out of someone to get them to change 2 front brakes there and then for £200?All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
