Hello :hello: Sorry, I haven't been sweeping for a while. DH had a *big* birthday so all spare pounds and pennies were all accounted for. Another 10 years until his next big birthday....

So, I've at least managed to sweep £2.36 this week. Current total is £98.83. :j :j Hopefully next week I'll break the £100 barrier. THAT would be very satisfying.

Hi all, I've just made it possible to join in by opening a savings a/c with the same bank as my online current a/c. Made my first transfer of 0.83 today:j

I'm starting slowly as I don't know what I'll use this for yet- short term or long term??? Haven't set a target yet but will be thinking.....

But at least the facility is now there:beer: Happy saving all!!

Welcome!

You choose what you want to round your bank balance down to. Do if it's down to the nearest £5 then, yes! Although if your bank doesn't let you transfer less than a pound you might need to wait another week, or perhaps add on a fiver!

I round down to the nearest £10, ideally on a Friday. I really like that nice rounded number as my bank balance fof the weekend!

I started in February I think and I'm up to £262.04 - which is £262.04 I wouldn't have saved otherwise!
