For those on Blue+Price Promise February 2016

This might be old news (sorry if it is), but I just added 3 months to my fix and got a lower unit price (standing charge unchanged) by switching to Blue+Price Promise May 2016.

It isn't a massive saving, but only requires a few mouse clicks.

Make sure you check your own figures, but I saved £2.04.

Standing charge: 18.00p/day

Unit Price: 12.51p/kWh

Unit Price: 12.40p/kWh

I have changed several times from Feb 16, then Mar, then April and this week to May 16.
The latest change saves me £60/year and the benefit of an extra month. Each change of month has been a small saving or no change just the extra month.
At this rate I will be ending up fixed until 2017!

Thanks for the reminder! I was on Feb 2015 and swapped to Mar 2016 fixed back in November last year. I've moved that now to May 2016 and saved money and they've reduced my DD by £10 a month too.
