I'm trying to track down an ex work colleague but I don't have that much information to go on. Is there any one I can contact who might be able to help? I realise a lot of places won't want to give out any personal information but even a telephone number would be a good start.
He was an older gentleman who didn't really dabble in technology and so didn't have a mobile phone. I actually convinced him into setting up a facebook account but it appears to have been deactivated.
A while ago he took seriously ill and wasn't able to work. A year later we heard he wouldn't be coming back to work and that he had relocated from Belfast to Bushmills. I don't think he wouldn't want any contact, its just that he doesn't have the means.
Any ideas? Could the housing executive help?

You can buy access to 192.com .
This combines telephone records with the edited electoral roll information.0 -
You'll probably have to use whatever is in the public domain as I can't imagine any organisation or body like the HE helping . They wouldn't be able to give out information due to the data protection act.
192 is pretty decent and a good start.0 -
Just in case you haven't thought of it. Have you tried writing him a letter? Usually if you just have an approximate address, it will get there.0

The Housing Executive cannot give you any information but a sympathetic housing officer might be willing to pass on a letter for you if your friend is definitely a tenant.0

If there is an HR department they may have his details and be willing to pass on a letter from you giving him your details and the option to contact you in return?John0

Bushmills isn't large, nor a million miles from Belfast. How about a wee trip up and ask around the bars and shops if all else fails?0

what about contacting churchs in the area to see if they could pass on a letter from you ??0
