if you are offered 15k in a redundancy or a job in new location with three hours travel everyday for the same salary. Which one would you prefer.

Does employee have any rights to reject new offer without sacrificing redundancy money due to distance or personal reason

I don't really understand your 2nd sentence, you say that you can have redundancy OR a new job so if you reject the new job offer then surely the redundancy money is taken instead..

Redundancy money every time. I had three goes at it, one each in the 70s, 80s and 90s. One enabled us to start a family and drop an income, another paid for a house extension and the last helped clear the mortgage. Better jobs and career enhancements too.

Yes, I struggled too!

The amount of travelling is more than the employer could get away with imposing on you so, if you decline then redundancy may be the only option.

Is £15K more than your minimum legal entitlement? If so, does it come with any strings attached?
