    just search this forum using the search word smallclaimssolicitors and you will see several threads about them, inclouding advice in the replies

    ALWAYS complain to the landowners and/or retailers and insist on cancellation

    BTW, the ones in scotland have no relevance to you, as you are under england and wales laws, which are different

    As above always complain to the landowner, you may want to reference the fact that the parking grunt wasnt doing his/her job properly as they failed to warn you telling them that you are aware of the ibotson vs VCS case.
    you could also drop something in alnong the lines of ... By employing a private parking company to act for you on your land you are exposing yourselves to considerable risk, and you could be held liable to refund motorists who have paid your agents ( the parking company ) I would strongly suggest that you look again at your relationship with the private parking company and take steps to mitigate any potential losses and terminate your relationship with them as soon as possible.
