downstairs wc query

Hello, I'm after some opinions. I live in a 3 bed detached house. I'll be looking to move in about 9 years (due to sons school). Our conservatory is falling down so needs replacing so we've been pricing extensions.
Issue is, my hallway is tiny. As you go in, the wc is to your left. I'd like the wc moved across further to the left, where the extension will be eventually to open the hallway up. Then you go through a door into my lounge, through doors into a kitchen diner. To the left is my crappy conservatory. This will hopefully be a dining room come snug with a sofa bed in. My issue is, the wc, will technically be off this extension with the door going in. Great for overnight visitors but doesnt sit right with me as it's got a table and chairs in it. Other option is to gave it going off the hallway but thus would mean the outside would need to be longer ( and cost more) plus I'd lose a wall in my hallway for the door. Hubby thinks I'm worrying over nothing.

Somehow it seems wrong to me to have a WC directly off the dining room. With a door on it, I don't think there's any problem with building regs, though. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
The dining room would also be a mini living room and the loo would be that side of the room if that makes sense, then they'd be French doors from the extension into the kitchen0
