Asus h81m-plus motherboard , and proposing to use a i3 4160 , keep coming up with memory choise problems
the list at asus site is very select , and probably out of date
spotted bls2c4g3d169ds3ceu made by crucial , at a local supplier http://cpc.farnell.com/crucial-memory/bls2c4g3d169ds3ceu/dimm-8gb-4gbx2-ddr3-1600-ballistix/dp/CS27172?in_merch=Products
however its not on asus,s list (hardly anything is) , and the crucial memory finder leaves this one off.
its possible (as someone at ccl computers said "its obsolete , they have changed the heatsinks now"
is it the correct memory or not?
thanks

well that pc configurator site that people mention on this forum , don't list them http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/
deep in the bowels of google , http://www.mlacom.si/konfigurator?myconf&id=mbrd_26829,proc_30999,ram_12283,disk1_13378,chas_26535,cool_15545,pow_27714
although in a forign language , I think its a configuration list and uses the h81 and the memory I quoted0 -
Me, I'd just look at the Crucial website http://www.crucial.com/uk and see what you can find. If nothing, talk to one of their people - it's their job to get you the right memory.0
