TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE 2014 #BESTATNEWYEAR CONTEST

1. The closing date of the competition is 19/01/2015.
2. Valid for two people travelling together and sharing accommodation over five consecutive nights at Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai on a bed and breakfast board basis and return economy flights from London with airport taxes. All other expenses are at the winners’ cost.
3. The prize is valid for travel between 26/01/2015 and 31/12/2015 (excluding peak periods such as but not limited to Christmas and Easter).
4. The prize winner must claim within 28 days of being notified. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited.
5. The winner must be one of the people who travel on the prize holiday. The prize cannot be transferred.
6. The prize must be taken as offered and no cash or other alternative will be offered.
7. The winner and their travelling companion are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport to travel and any necessary visa, and that they hold adequate travel insurance.
8. The holiday prize does not include the cost of travel insurance, spending money or any other items or expense not specifically stated within the prize description. All such costs/expenses will be the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion.
9. Prize to be booked with Best at Travel at least 8 weeks prior to preferred departure date
10. Original hotel prize voucher to be shown to resort on check-in (photo-copy, lost or stolen vouchers will not be accepted).
11. Only one entry per person. Multiple entries may be valid if submitted via different available submission mechanisms (i.e. one entry via Instagram, one entry via Facebook app etc.)
12. No purchase necessary.
13. Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
14. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions. Best At Travel reserves the right to exclude entrants and withhold the prize for violating any of these terms and conditions.
15. No cash or other alternative is available and the prize cannot be transferred.
16. The administrator will select the winning entry at random from all the correct and valid entries received. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. All entrants agree that they will be opted into receive marketing material from Best At Travel and must contact the companies to unsubscribe.
18. The administrator does not take responsibility for late or lost entries.
19. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Yeah, I saw that and wondered the same thing. I'm guessing they're just standard terms which they edit and probably just missed that bit.

Unless the judges just pick every one they like and stick it in the "Good" pile, then from all of those a random winner is selected.
