The version from the link doesn't work.
When you run the set-up file, you get an error part-way through.
    It also installs malware.

If you haven't already solved the problem, Giveaway of the Day are offering MunSoft Data Recovery Suite 2.0 free today here (normally retails for $99.95).

I've not tried it but a couple of reviews seem quite positive so may be worth giving it a go. I assume (rightly or wrongly) that if Munsoft are expecting people to normally shell-out the best part of 100 dollars it must have something going for it.

Seriously...without even downloading it, you can see it is a waste of time.
Purchase a personal license (including updates and technical support) at 70% discount

Then they go on to write that the Personal Licence is US$29.99, down from US$99.95
    Personal License $29.99 [STRIKE]$99.95[/STRIKE]

It may or may not work for you, but then again, one could just use Recuva or any of the other very good Recovery options for nothing.

It does have a software wrapper, offering to install Software Informer. Personally, I wouldn't bother.
