Scotland PCN

The driver of the car I was driving received a PCN from Parking Eye. Can anyone who received this in Scotland confirm than an appeal based on not being the driver at the time would work?

if the car isnt leased or rented or a company car, then you ignore it in scotland
see the NEWBIES sticky thread for scotland advice
ps:- your post is ambiguous ( driver of a car I was driving ? )0 -
You don't appeal in Scotland unless you have to to divert a PPCs attention away from an employer/finance/lease co to you.
The less contact you have with these bams the better.

Thanks, I meant the keeper. I was driving but it's not my car. Does the keeper send them the MSE letter saying he was not the driver or just totally ignore? I read the newbies thread but I'm just new to this and wanted to double check with ppl based in Scotland.0

no keeper liability in scotland - ignore (for 5 years)0

And stop saying who was driving - it's the last thing anyone needs to be admitting in the context of PCNs in Scotland! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you know the keeper can take the pressure of the scary but meaningless letters, just point them at this forum and tell them to ignore.
Otherwise, make an appeal yourself, then ignore them totally.
Really, the best way to deal with PPCs in Scotland is to ignore altogether.
