I prefer peace of mind, they are all paid by DD so if I am working odd hours/ travelling at no notice etc I dont have to stop and think about when was the last time a random one of my credit cards was last paid/ is next due but get on with life knowing they will be paid on time at almost the last possible moment to maximise my interest free period.
    Same here.
Spending card DD set for full amount.
0% stoozing cards DD set for minimum payment.

But a DD for the full amount is only good if you can guarantee having the money in your current account.

Yes well I always paid in full each month....
So to avoid repeat of that scenario, set up direct debit for minimum payment.

To be honest setting up the direct debit seems to have "made things more complicated" as now I still have to remember to pay but to pay the full balance before it is due rather than on due date. :

    .

If you always pay in full then why not set the DD for full payment rather than "making things more complicated" by having to remember to pay the difference by the due date.

A DD for full payment for some providers can cause the payment to be taken earlier, reducing the interest free credit time. For other cards it can make it more difficult to use a balance transfer to clear the balance.
