I'm on a website for booking holiday cottages. I want to run a virtual tour of a cottage we are hiring, but Java won't let me. The error tells me to open Java console, which I've done, and either add the website to the exceptions list, which I can't seem to do, or change the security settings to low, which again I can't do, as there are only 2 settings high, and very high. Can anyone help please. Thanks.

I've had this problem and in my case the solution was to try IE11 instead of Chrome which is my usual browser0
-
Is that the only solution? I haven't used IE for years, so I might need to set it up.0
-
I don't know if it is the only solution but it worked. I think it is worth keeping a second browser on the go as it can help identify and solve some problems.0

Close any open browser.
Go to Control Panel and uninstall anything Java.
Then go to Java.com and download/install the latest version.0 -
Have look here: https://www.java.com/en/download/exception_sitelist.jsp
It will need to be on high as very high will ignore the exceptions.0 -
Try Firefox perhaps0
