Rooted Nexus 4 - Android 5.01 - Hide Root Status

Anyone know of an app or other means to selectively hide the phone's rooted status from specific apps (like banking, NowTV, etc.)?
I'd like to add the apps for my bank and credit card, but these won't run on rooted phones. But I'm not prepared to unroot my phone just for these apps - I like being able to make my phone MORE secure and power efficient by having it rooted. (Which is ironic, given that such banking apps think a rooted phone is LESS secure).
Note: This thread is NOT intended to discuss the merits (or otherwise) of rooting, or whether the banking apps are right or wrong in their interpretation of security when rooted. This thread is asking if there's a selective workaround to use such apps without unrooting the phone.
TIA

RootCloak
But whether that works depends entirely on how the app checks for a rooted OS.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Going by the comments it won't work with my banking apps.

But thanks anyway.
(I can always access banking via browser anyway).0 -
Try this : http://www.droidviews.com/how-to-hide-root-access-from-apps-that-detect-root-on-android/
Try the first option and ignore the "Xposed" option as it does not work on Lollipop devices (yet!!)Laters

That's the same as what Strider suggested ... unfortunately my banking providers have changed their apps since the date of that article and so RootCloak no longer works for them.

That's what i'd do...
Their apps probably have some pretty intrusive permissions anyway.
My bank kept pestering me to install their security software on my PC, but when I did my research I found that it demotes your user account down from system administrator and locks out certain settings. So trust them I would not.....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
