Hello
I moved out and my agent just texted me that there were some issues with the property and they going to withhold some money from the deposit. we took off the closet doors as there was no enough room for my LO's bed. I didn't put them back on. Can I comeback and do it or ask somebody to do it.
Many thanks

If your tenancy has ended then it's too late for you to go back and hang the doors. Wouldn't hurt to ask though.0

No. The time to do that was before you left.
I presume you left the doors at the property. If they just charge a workman to come and fit it back on, it should not take too long, but don't forget you will be liable for any reasonable call-out charge as well, not just the time spent fixing it.
Or, they might claim the cupboard is damaged beyond repair. If they do, then you have little chance of contesting it unless you have evidence of the condition of the doors etc. on exit.
Mind you, given the second-hand value of a used cupboard is probably less than the fix, I reckon they'll ask for the fix (and why not).
