Accidentally picked up the expensive Morrisons milk and it wasn't until I got to the check out I realized that I had the expensive one. Couldn't be bothered to go all the way through the store to change it as I thought I would get my money back through their spend and save - no such luck it has to be over £15 purchase.

How in the blue hell is this a con.

Some people live in worlds where 'what happened' isn't identical with 'what I wanted to happen' they believe they've been cheated I guess?

I jest but it must be awful to go through life taking your own mistakes or innocent circumstances as a conspiracy against you, just think what meltdowns being in a traffic jam, rain on a bank holiday etc must cause.

Perhaps it was the Cravendale type. I know Tesco do their own version and it costs more than normal milk.

that's what I assumed. Cravendale lasts longer too and tastes a bit better than stores own.

    Lazy, not conned.

Agreed. The OP has no one to blame for their own stupidity but themselves.
It seems to be the culture these days, its always someone else's fault with people like these.

Maybe next time the OP goes to Morrisons or any shop they will open their eyes and read what they are buying.

Its not a con as you picked up the wrong milk.

If you keep saying conned in your head enough it ends up not sounding like a word.

Morrisons charge £1.39 for 4 pints of milk whereas the other supermarkets charge £1.00 (although they also do Meadow Park milk which is 88p for a slightly smaller 2 litre bottle).

Op still hasn't been conned though!!
