Would you recommend booking with them?
Looking for a cheap holiday with a mate but ones like sunsave have got bad reviews...

What you need to remember is generally people don't come home from holiday thinking I'll just search through the internet and put a good review on for our Holiday company. Us Brits can be miserable !!!!!!s and love nothing better than a good moan so there's a lot bigger chance of someone coming home and logging onto a computer just to write something nice. Its a different story all together if you are talking about beable to have a good !!!!! though. So you wil find more bad reports than good on most of them.
I personally have used Sunsave just under 2 years ago and have also just booked again for September approx. a month ago. I had no problems whatsoever the 1st time around, so hopefully we will be O.K this time.
The only thing I can say about companies like Sunsave are the prices will be more than advertised on their website because they don't include such things as Fuel Tax, Online check-in fee, Baggage fees. You can be talking an extra £200 for a family of 4 at least. These charges are something that all companies charge now. Most airlines actually include it in their original flight price. Its swallowed up and nobody notices or questions it. Its generally the Low Cost Airlines (that companies like Sunsave etc. rely on) that add them on separately on top of their basic flight cost. Therefore we become suspicious. I would also reccomending as well that you don't book online, but that you get the holiday in front of you, then you call and ask about it. They will then give you the actual cost including everything 9they will also give you the opportunity to pay for transfers and meals on the plane if you wish to do so. If the price they give to you is too high you have the options of either asking for a cheaper holiday or walking away. If you book/ pay online, then wait till they call to confirm everything within 24 hours, and find that you wish to change your mind; its too late unfortunately. The money is already on its way to them from the minute you press 'Submit Payment' on that website. If your holiday is within 14 weeks you will lose 100% of your money due to cancellation. Anything less than that and you may bebale to get a small amount back although this is obviously at their discretion. I think as long as you do everything you are told to do 'to the letter', and as long as you are careful when you book then you should be OK with Sunsave. ;)
