flyakite does not work on vista, don't fancy doing it all manually with objectdock. just want the mac interface, icons etc but the vista o/s and windows to work like windows if that makes sense. any ideas?

You could buy an Intel Mac and install Vista using BootCamp, Parallels or similar. When you revert to MacOSX it will look exactly like MacOSX.

I don't know of a one-click solution for Vista.
The simplest way to start would be to change the visual style with WindowBlinds, and use ObjectDock for the dock.
