Thank you everyone.
Just transferred the £32.24 to the mortgage to round them up to £400 for January. Really pleased with that total.
Next overpayment will be when we get paid on 20 February :j

Decided to pay some interest that we gained in our ISAs towards the mortgage - £333.30.
I did some calculations and think we could pay off the mortgage in 2020. That's if things like share prices go the right way. My husband doesn't quite believe it but with the small overpayments and saving plans that we have I really think we can do it! Would be great to get it gone.

Hi there,
It's payday today so just sorted out our money! I do look forward to this time of the month!
Transferred the £525 that I had planned together with a further £32 . Together with the unexpected overpayment of £333.30 earlier this month, that takes the total for February to £890.30.
I hope to be able to round this up to £900 before the end of the month if I can scrape together the extra £9.70!

I'm sure you'll find that £9.70 somehow Flower!😉Starting balance £173,000 (Sept 2012) interest only so if we do nothing We will owe this at the end of the term😁😁
Balance as of Sept 2014 £165,803
Balance as of Feb 2015 £163,360
Balance end of July 2015 £159,050
Balance as of Jan 2017.... £138,033:j0 -
Thank you Cariad71!
I did find it and have transferred 9.70 across to take the total overpayments for February to £900.
Trying to have a super frugal month as just need to scrape a bit more together for the balance of our holiday that needs to be paid in April. I don't want to dip into savings.

Payday has finally arrived and money shuffled around. I really enjoy that!
Another overpayment made to the mortgage of £300 taking the total so far in 2015 £1600. (£3629.60 since it started in July last year)
That means balance at the end of the month will be approx £85104.
Aiming to have reduced it to £83000 by the end of its first year in July.

A very sneeky £3.45 made to take balance to a nice round £85100 and take overpayments for March to £303.45. I like seeing the balance go down in chunks like that.
We have decided to get a new patio door for security reasons so will be missing the main overpayment for April. So next overpayment should be May.

It's payday today and we would normally be making an overpayment to the mortgage. We need a new patio door so will be missing it this month but I think that the door is a valid excuse as it is needed for security (and it will look nice too!)

Great over payment for march flower :]
Defiantly security is more important than over payment you have all year to overpay dont go to fancy patio doors are expensive heheMortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

Payday today!
Transferred £300 across to the mortgage account. That should take the balance down to £84370.73 at the end of the month.
Patio door has been ordered and paid for so looking forward to that being fitted.
Balance is coming down nicely!
