Coach took alternative route, missed flight

With National Express as long as the coach stops at the designated stops then the route is upto the driver. The only stops the coach MUST stop at is where their is a ticket office where someone could purchase a ticket, otherwise if anyone of the journey stops dont have anyone to pick up then the can miss them.
But i agree with other leaving it the the last possible time to catch a flight relying on public transport is risky0 -
An hour to get from Gatwick to Heathrow is pushing it, the journey is 40 miles.
If there are any traffic problems that could easily be two or three hours and would take far more than an hour during any of the normal peaks eg between 6.30am to 10.30am and 3pm to 7pm in week days. Even at weekends there are times of the day when the traffic is heavy0 -
If I'm having to negotiate a busy route en route to an airport, I usually go the night before0
