New Year Resolution to step up cleaning in my home, but where do I start?

People laugh at me as I've got a regular cleaning routine, but at least it all gets done!!
Every day I do a load of washing, set the washing machine up the day before on a timer so it's done when you get up, no waiting around until it's finished. Empty the dishwasher every day, apart from the weekends when hubby does it.
Monday-day off/spare day. If I know I'm going to be out on a day when I do a particular task I can do it on Monday instead, or otherwise I have a day free to do whatever.
Tuesday-Food shopping and sometimes look after baby grandson.
Wednesday-change sheets and clean the bathroom and upstairs before work. This is a cause of great hilarity at work, as soon as I walk in one of the girls says 'Sheets', knowing full well I will have done them. She, on the other hand only changes her sheets when they need doing!!! She even sent me a message from Nepal to check I'd done them!!
Thursday-Clean and hoover downstairs before going to work.
Friday-I have baby grandson all day so not much gets done.
In between this I have folding of washing and putting it away, general wipe down of the kitchen after dinner and I always wash round the bath every evening after my bath, that way it doesn't need deep scrubbing every week. I also wipe the sink and put bleach down the loo while waiting for the bath to run.
I hoover up when I need to, but not having any dogs any more has cut that right down. I find if you do it on a regular basis it doesn't matter if you miss a week. The weekends are free for me and hubby to do what we want, without having to worry about food shopping or dusting. Just make a mental list of the things you need to do, split them into manageable chunks and leave yourself a bit of free time to do whatever you want, even if it's just sit down and have a kip!!0 -
I don't get in the mood to clean the house very often but when I do, I really get stuck in so the 20 minute rule would be counter - productive.
Why would you buy a timer when they are on even the cheapest of phones?0
